A strike vote will be taken at this meeting.

2. Presentation & adoption of the VCTA strike pay rules* (~10 min)
3. Presentation and adoption of the FDP rules & regulations (~10 min) (FDP = CSN Fonds de defense professionnel)
4. Report on negotiations & mobilization (~10 min)
5. Presentation of & debate of the strike motions**
6. Strike Vote
7. Rallying vote
8. Motion that teachers not make up classes rescheduled because of strike action.

Motions to be voted:
* VCTA strike pay rules
Whereas, the VCTA GA voted on March 13, 2013 that teachers who participate in strike activities will receive $100 per day strike pay; Association Council recommends that the VCTA GA adopt the following VCTA Strike Fund Rules for the 5 days of strike recommended by the CCSPP: VCTA Strike Fund Rules The VCTA strike fund is activated if VCTA members are on strike. To be eligible for strike pay, VCTA members must actively participate in the strike by performing assigned strike duties. To be eligible for strike pay, a teacher on strike must: – be a dues-paying member and in “good standing” as defined in the VCTA bylaws.

Membership cards will be available on site for a fee of $2.00. – sign in with the picket captain in their assigned area and sign out after their shift ends on

the VCTA signing sheets. The picket captain will initial when the members sign in and sign

out as a witness. – remain in the specific area assigned. – complete and sign a Strike Pay Application (form provided by your VCTA local) – actively participate in the strike by performing assigned strike duties for at least 3 hours

(e.g. picketing or picket captain or picket poster design, etc).

**STRIKE MOTIONS:

1. I mandate the Vanier College Teachers’ Association to call a strike up to the equivalent of five (5) days on a sequential (federative, sectoral or regional or national) basis to be exercised at the appropriate time, in coordination with the public sector federations CSN gathered in CCSPP*, taking into account the circumstances of the negotiations and the health situation.

2. I mandate the Vanier College Teachers’ Association to join the strike mandate obtained by the majority of the unions concerned from the FNEEQ, in accordance with the terms applicable to the federation.
